Understanding Vehicle Dynamics
$250.00/driverA proficient driver must understand the forces acting on a vehicle and more importantly how these forces will affect the driver's ability to control their vehicle. Students will learn the scientific aspects of vehicle movement, which will help them to understand and develop a better command of advanced vehicle control. It is an essential part of training that participants leave with a good understanding of how to determine the limits of adhesion and to define the handling capability of the vehicle.
Program Content
Chalk-talk (lecture) on vehicle dynamics and advanced vehicle control
Hands on exercises include:
- Slalom Drills
- Brake & Turn Drills
- Evasive Maneuvering Drill
- Time Trial Drill (includes an afternoon driving around our mile long cone course)
